Community rules
KBN Social is the members' network of the KBN World Federation of Martial Arts — a place for fighters, coaches, officials and fans of kickboxing, MMA, boxing, Muay Thai and related combat sports. By joining you agree to these rules.
1. Adults only (18+)
You must be 18 or over to join. We ask for your date of birth at sign-up and never keep details of anyone younger. If you think a member is under 18, report their profile — we act on these reports first.
2. Real, verified members
Every account needs a verified e-mail address. One person, one account. Don't impersonate fighters, officials, KBN staff or anyone else — usernames suggesting you are an admin, moderator or KBN official are not allowed.
3. Combat sports only
Posts, shorts, stories and groups must be about combat sports: fights and results, training, technique, camps, nutrition and weight management, events and fight culture. Every post needs a topic. Off-topic content is removed.
4. Respect every fighter
Trash talk about a fight is part of the sport; abuse is not. No harassment, bullying, threats, doxxing or pile-ons. Disagree with the decision, not the person's family, race or religion.
5. No hate or violence outside the sport
No hate speech, slurs or content that attacks people for who they are. No real-world violence, street fights or content that glorifies injuring people outside a sanctioned contest. Swear words are automatically masked.
6. Clean sport
No promotion or sale of performance-enhancing drugs, dangerous weight-cutting methods or supplements making false claims. No betting tips that suggest inside knowledge, and nothing that hints at match-fixing — we report it to the KBN Integrity Unit.
7. Protect fighter data
Never share another person's passport or ID numbers, medical results, licence documents, home address or contact details. Official records live on the KBN verify page — link to it instead.
8. Your content, your rights
Only post photos and videos you have the right to share. Credit photographers. Fight footage from broadcasters may be removed at the rights-holder's request.
How moderation works
Anyone can report a post, comment, story, message, profile or group from its ⋯ menu. KBN moderators review reports, can remove content, and can warn, suspend or remove accounts. Serious breaches (threats, under-18 accounts, doping or match-fixing) are escalated to the KBN Executive and, where required, the authorities. You'll hear back about reports you make.
How verification works
The blue tick means KBN has confirmed the account belongs to the fighter, coach, official, journalist or creator it represents — apply from More → Request verification. The red K shield is separate: it appears automatically on members linked to a KBN-licensed fighter, and points to their official, verified record. Neither can be bought, and ranking points are never affected by social activity.
