KBN rewards finishing. A win by knockout or technical knockout earns +5 on top of the +20 win bonus in every discipline. A win by submission earns the same +5, but only in MMA, because submission is a legal finish only in that ruleset.

Method labels on the bout record must match the official result sheet. A referee stoppage for a cut is a TKO; a doctor stoppage between rounds is a TKO; a corner retirement is recorded as "Other" and earns the decision value.
