A 20-question exam on the 10-point must system, knockdowns, fouls, weigh-ins and KBN procedure — pass with 16 and receive an officials licence that anyone can verify.
Officials sit the certification exam in the app. It has 20 questions covering scoring under the 10-point must system, knockdowns, fouls and deductions, weigh-in and medical rules, conflicts of interest and how the referee app handles results. The pass mark is 16.

What the exam checks
- A round won clearly is 10–9; one knockdown normally makes it 10–8
- Only the referee deducts points for fouls; judges record the deduction
- No athlete competes under KBN sanction without valid medical clearance
- A result entered in the referee app is pending until HQ verifies it
- A judge with a personal or financial link to a fighter must declare it and withdraw
Successful candidates receive an officials licence numbered OFF-{country}-{sequence}, verifiable at /officials/verify.
