Why a referee's result is never final

A result entered at ringside creates two pending bouts. The Ranking Committee verifies them before a single point is awarded.

When the referee enters the final result, the system creates one bout for each fighter with status pending and source "referee". Both stay outside the ranking until an admin compares them with the official result sheet and approves them.

Bout records in the register by verification status
Verified: 137 Pending: 21 Rejected: 0 158Bouts
  • Verified 137 (87%)
  • Pending 21 (13%)
  • Rejected 0 (0%)
This is the single most important safeguard in the system: no live score, no self-submitted record and no referee entry can move the table on its own.
