Base points: 5 for participation, +20 for a win, +5 for a KO or TKO win, +5 for a submission win in MMA only, +25/+50/+100 for tournament third/runner-up/champion and +75 for a successful KBN title defence. A result keeps 100 percent of its value for 12 months, 50 percent from 12 to 24 months and 0 after 24 months. Age is measured as days between the event and today divided by 30.4375, so full value lasts 365 days. How points expire.

A KO or TKO win is 30 base points (5 + 20 + 5). At full time value that is 30 at a national event, 45 at an International Open, 60 at a Continental Championship, 75 at a KBN World Cup and 90 at a World Championship.

Never. Ranking points are earned only through verified sporting performance. No code path creates or edits points except the ranking engine reading verified bouts, and every decision that affects them is audited. Why points cannot be bought.

It is the date used for every calculation, including time value and movement. On the demo site the date is fixed at 28 September 2026 so the numbers stay stable; otherwise it is today's date.

Every fighter profile has a points breakdown listing each verified bout with event, level, result, base points, multiplier, time value and points. A 12-month points chart shows how the total has moved as results were added and aged.
