The branch
KBN Turkey is based in Istanbul and runs its page at worldkbn.com/turkey. It prepares and verifies applications from Turkish athletes, proposes Turkish events for sanctioning, and maintains its board, clubs and contact details. Licences, Fighter IDs, publication and certificates are issued by KBN World HQ.
Europe or Asia?
Turkey spans both continents, and sports bodies classify it differently. KBN's default places Turkey in Europe for continental rankings. It is a configurable setting and one of the open decisions KBN has been asked to confirm. If it changes, every Turkish athlete's continental position is recalculated at once; world and national ranks are unaffected.

Evidence tips for Turkish athletes
- Upload official Turkish-language result sheets as they are; add an English description in the evidence field. Do not create translated documents that look official.
- Federation letters confirming bouts are strong evidence, especially for amateur championships.
- Include the organiser's contact for international opens held in Turkey.
- Check that the name on your passport matches the name on the fight card; explain any difference in transliteration.
Language
The platform is built with localisation hooks for Turkish, so Turkish-language pages can be added. Official documents and the ranking use the same data in every language.

Events held in Turkey appear on the branch events tab with their KBN level. International Opens (×1.5) and continental championships (×2.0) are especially valuable for ranking points. The live centre shows KBN-scored bouts as they happen.
For Turkish clubs and organisers
Clubs that run regular events in Turkey can work with KBN Turkey to have events created as drafts and prepared for sanctioning, so results count in the ranking. Organisers of international opens should include details of foreign participation in the sanction request, because the level reflects the real field.
