A tournament champion earns +100 on top of the win and method points for the final. The runner-up earns +50 on the final bout even though it was a loss. Third place earns +25 on the semi-final or bronze bout.

The placement bonus is added once, on the bout that decided the placement. Earlier rounds of the same tournament are ordinary bouts with their own participation and win points.
This is why a single World Championship title (390 points at full time value) outweighs a whole season of national wins. KBN considers that correct: winning the world final is the hardest thing in the sport.
