Acceptable use policy

1. Scope

1.1This policy applies to everyone who uses the Service, including the public site, KBN Social, the fighter portal, the admin area, the referee app, the API and any file you upload. It forms part of the Terms of use.

2. You must not

• Break any law, or use the Service for fraud, money laundering or any other unlawful purpose.
• Submit forged, altered, borrowed or misleading documents or bout records, or claim results that are not yours.
• Offer, request or advertise ranking points, positions, licences, certificates or verification in exchange for money or any other benefit.
• Impersonate any person, official, branch or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation with KBN.
• Harass, threaten, defame, bully or abuse anyone, or post hate speech, sexual content involving minors or content that incites violence.
• Share another person's personal data (including ID numbers, medical information, addresses or contact details) without a lawful reason.
• Upload viruses, malware or any harmful code, or files you are not entitled to share.
• Access or try to access accounts, data or areas you are not authorised to use, including records of another branch; probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service except under the Security & vulnerability disclosure.
• Interfere with or overload the Service, bypass rate limits, CAPTCHAs, access controls or technical measures, or use it to send spam.
• Scrape, harvest or bulk-download personal data, or build a database of athletes or members from the Service.
• Reproduce, sell or commercially exploit ranking tables or content without written permission (see Copyright & trademark notice).
• Reverse-engineer the Service except as permitted by law.
• Use an administrative, officiating or branch role for any purpose other than the one assigned to you.

3. Automated access and the API

3.1Reasonable automated access to public ranking pages for personal, non-commercial use is allowed if you respect robots.txt and rate limits and do not collect personal data beyond names and published sporting results. Commercial or bulk use requires written permission or an API key under the developer terms.

4. What we may do

4.1If you breach this policy we may, proportionately and without prior notice where needed: remove content; restrict features; suspend or terminate your account; refuse or withdraw an application, result, licence or certificate under the applicable KBN rules; report the matter to the authorities; and take legal action. Decisions can be challenged under the Complaints & appeals procedure.
