Data subject requests

1. Your rights

1.1You can ask to access your personal data, correct it, erase it, restrict its use, receive it in a portable format, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and ask for a human review of automated calculations. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. The Privacy notice explains each right and its limits.

2. How to make a request

2.1E-mail holdingkbn@gmail.com from the e-mail address registered on your account, with the subject "Data request", stating which right you want to exercise and, if relevant, which data. Athletes should include their Fighter ID or application number.

2.2Parents or guardians can make requests for an athlete under 18. Someone acting for you (for example a solicitor) must show that they are authorised.

2.3We log every request and process it in the admin area's data requests screen, where authorised KBN staff can generate a machine-readable export of your profile, bouts, applications and notifications, or carry out deletion.

3. Things you can do yourself

• Update your contact details and portrait in the fighter portal (portrait changes are approved by an administrator).
• Change your notification settings and switch off push notifications in the app.
• Unsubscribe from campaign e-mails using the link in each e-mail.
• Edit or delete your KBN Social posts, comments and messages, and deactivate your social profile in Social settings.
• Clear cookies and site data in your browser (see Cookie policy).

4. Identity checks

4.1To protect you, we may ask for information to confirm your identity before acting, and we will only ask for what is necessary. The one-month deadline starts once we have what we need.

5. Timing and cost

5.1We respond within one month of receiving a valid request. For complex or numerous requests we may extend this by up to two further months, and will tell you why within the first month. Requests are free unless they are manifestly unfounded or excessive, in which case we may charge a reasonable fee or refuse, and will explain why.

6. Erasure and the sporting record

6.1When we erase your account we delete or anonymise your personal data, except where we must or may keep it: for example the verified sporting record (results and rankings) as the historical record of the sport, the licence register, records needed for pending appeals or disciplinary matters, safeguarding records and records we must keep by law (such as tax records). We will tell you what we keep and why.
