1. The principle: points can never be bought
1.1Ranking points and positions are earned only through verified sporting performance and can never be purchased. No fee, donation, sponsorship, membership, subscription, ticket or other payment creates, increases, protects or restores a result, a point, a ranking position, a verification decision, an event level or multiplier, a licence or a certificate.
1.2A fee is only ever payment for an administrative service (reviewing an application, issuing or renewing a document, sanctioning an event), for membership, for a ticket, or for optional fan or organisation features. Paying never changes the outcome of a sporting decision, and a refusal on sporting grounds is not a reason to withhold a refund you are otherwise entitled to under this policy.
1.3Anyone who offers to arrange points, positions or documents in exchange for payment is not acting for KBN. Please report it to holdingkbn@gmail.com. It is a breach of the Code of conduct & disciplinary rules.
↑ Contents2. What fees may apply
2.1Depending on which features KBN has switched on, the following fees may apply. The amount, currency, what it covers and any VAT are always shown before you pay.
| Fee | Who pays | What it covers | Current position |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ranking application review | Athletes | Administrative review of an application and its evidence | No application fee is charged during the founding period. Any future fee will be published here at least 30 days in advance and apply only to applications submitted after that date. |
| Licence renewal | Licensed athletes | Review and issue of a renewed Fighter Ranking License for a further year | Shown at renewal (currently £60.00 where online renewal is enabled) |
| Membership | National federations, clubs and members as provided by the Executive Statute (Art. 4.3) | Annual membership of the federation | Scaled by membership type and national/regional tier; published by KBN |
| Document issue or replacement | Athletes | Issuing or replacing a printed or certified copy of a licence or certificate | Only if KBN publishes a fee; digital documents on the Service are free |
| Event sanction fee | Event organisers and promoters (business customers) | Administrative review of a sanction request and sanction of the event | Set per event and invoiced when the sanction is approved |
| Event tickets | Spectators | Entry to a specific event on a specific date | Price per ticket type set by the organiser and shown before purchase |
| Premium fan tier | Fans | Optional fan perks (ad-free live centre, early fight cards, extended Oracle analysis) | Monthly subscription, currently £4.99 per month unless a different price is shown |
| Federation and organisation plans | Federations and organisations (business customers) | Software plans for running a federation on the platform | As shown on the plans & pricing page or in your order |
2.2Fan games (predictions, polls, quizzes and fantasy leagues) are free to play, involve no stake and pay no cash prizes. Fantasy "budgets" are virtual points with no monetary value.
↑ Contents3. Payment terms
3.1Prices for consumers include VAT where VAT applies. Prices for business customers are shown with VAT added where applicable. KBN's VAT number, if registered, is [to be confirmed].
3.2Payment is taken at the time of order, or by the due date on an invoice. Invoices can be settled by the methods shown on the invoice (for example bank transfer, or card through a payment provider when enabled).
3.3KBN never stores your card details. Card payments, when enabled, are processed by a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider named on the payment page, which receives your card details directly.
3.4If a payment is not received, the related service (for example a renewed licence, a ticket or a sanction) may not be provided until it is. For business customers, statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 may apply to overdue invoices.
3.5On a demo site no real payment is ever taken and any invoice shown is sample data.
↑ Contents4. Your right to cancel (consumers)
4.1If you are a consumer buying online, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 usually give you 14 days to cancel without giving a reason. For services, the 14 days start the day after the contract is made; for digital content, the day after purchase.
4.2To cancel, tell us clearly within the 14 days, for example by e-mail to holdingkbn@gmail.com with your name, the order or invoice number and the date of purchase. You may use the model cancellation form in Schedule 3 to the Regulations but you do not have to.
4.3If you ask us to start a service (for example an application review or licence renewal) during the cancellation period and then cancel, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the work already done. Once the service has been fully performed at your express request, and you acknowledged that you would then lose the right to cancel, the right to cancel ends.
4.4Exceptions — the right to cancel does not apply to:
- Event tickets for a specific date or period: these are leisure services for a specific date and are excluded from the 14-day cancellation right (regulation 28(1)(g)). See clause 6 for what happens if an event is cancelled or moved.
- Digital content supplied immediately (for example premium analysis unlocked at once) where you gave your express consent to immediate supply and acknowledged that you would lose the right to cancel.
- Business customers (for example organisers, clubs and federations acting in the course of business): the 2013 Regulations do not apply, and the terms of your order apply instead.
4.5Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if a service is not provided with reasonable care and skill or digital content is faulty.
↑ Contents5. Premium fan tier
5.1The premium fan tier renews monthly until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in the app. When you cancel, your perks stop straight away and no further payments are taken.
5.2If you cancel within 14 days of your first payment you will receive a refund of that payment, less a proportionate amount for the days on which you used premium perks. After that, payments already made for the current month are not refunded, except where the law requires.
↑ Contents6. Refunds for specific services
6.1Application review and licence renewal: refunded in full if KBN cancels the service or fails to process it. Not refundable because an application or result is refused on sporting grounds after a proper review, because the review work has been done (subject to your right to cancel in clause 4).
6.2Document issue or replacement: refunded in full if KBN does not issue the document.
6.3Event tickets: if an event is cancelled you receive a full refund of the ticket price. If it is moved to a new date, your ticket is valid for the new date, or you may ask for a refund within 14 days of the announcement. A change of the fight card or of a particular bout does not by itself entitle you to a refund, unless the headline bout that was advertised as the main reason for the event is cancelled, in which case the organiser's policy shown at purchase applies and, where it is not less favourable, you may request a refund. Booking or transaction fees are refunded wherever the ticket price is refunded.
6.4Event sanction fees: refunded if KBN refuses the sanction request without carrying out the review, or cancels the sanction for reasons not caused by the organiser. Not refunded if the event is cancelled by the organiser after sanction, or if sanction is withdrawn because the organiser breached KBN's rules.
6.5Membership fees: refunded pro rata only where the Executive Statute or the membership terms provide.
6.6Federation and organisation plans: as set out in your order.
↑ Contents7. How refunds are paid
7.1We refund using the same payment method you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise, and without undue delay: for cancellations under the 2013 Regulations within 14 days of the day we are told you are cancelling. You will not be charged a fee for the refund.
7.2Refund requests: e-mail holdingkbn@gmail.com with your name, the order, ticket or invoice number and the reason. We acknowledge within 5 working days.
↑ Contents8. Chargebacks and disputed payments
8.1If you think a payment was wrong, please contact us first so we can put it right quickly. You keep any right you have to ask your card issuer for a chargeback.
8.2If a chargeback is raised, we will provide the payment provider with the evidence of the order and the service provided. Where a chargeback is found to be unjustified, we may suspend the related paid feature until the amount is settled. We will never change any sporting record or ranking because of a payment dispute.
↑ Contents9. Changes and contact
9.1We may change fees for the future. Changes are published on this page before they apply and never affect an order already paid for. Questions about fees and refunds: holdingkbn@gmail.com.
