Q&A: the Ranking Committee on how a result gets verified
From intake to certificate: six stages, two sets of eyes and no shortcuts.
Who checks a result first?
The athlete's national branch. It checks the application is complete, then verifies identity, the event and the result against official sources.
Who decides?
The Ranking Committee approves or rejects each result separately, sets the event level for events we have not sanctioned, then issues the Fighter ID and licence.
Can AI approve a result?
No. AI can pre-check whether documents are present. It never approves, rejects or changes anything.
