The referee app: offline-first scoring and three-judge scorecards
Officials check fighters in by QR, record weigh-ins and score every round on a phone — even with no signal. Nothing reaches the ranking until an admin verifies it.
Every KBN official now works from the same app. Assigned bouts are grouped by event; at check-in the official scans the fighter’s licence QR and sees licence status, medical clearance and suspension status, then records the weigh-in against the class limit — pass or fail.
Scoring that survives airplane mode
The scoring pad has one-tap buttons for 10–9, 9–10, 10–8, 8–10, 10–10 and 10–7, knockdown and foul counters for each corner and a Submit round button. Scores are queued on the device with a unique ID and sync when the connection returns; the server stores each round once, however many times the phone retries.
Three judges, one open scorecard
Each judge scores independently and the three cards are combined into the open scorecard shown in the live centre and the broadcast overlay. When two judges differ by three or more points in a round, the scorecard is flagged for integrity review.
