IMMAF praises the UAE’s role in developing amateur MMA
Speaking at the IMMAF Youth World Championships in Abu Dhabi, the federation pointed to the UAE’s event organisation and growing participation.
The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) described the UAE as a leading force in the development of MMA, citing its hosting of competitions, its emerging talent and initiatives to promote the sport.
The comments came during the seventh IMMAF Youth World Championships in Abu Dhabi. IMMAF said the championship keeps growing in competitors and participating countries, and that cooperation with the UAE Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts Federation has deepened.
