KBN is organised as a world federation with national branches. A branch gives athletes in its country a local route into the KBN World Ranking and gives the federation a public page, admin tools and a seat in the KBN structure. Here is how the process works.
Who can apply
National federations governing one or more combat sports, with legal standing in their country. Contact KBN at holdingkbn@gmail.com to start.
What you will need
- Legal credentials: registration documents of the federation.
- Your statute and a list of officers.
- Acceptance of the KBN Executive Statute.
- Annual membership, as set under the Statute.
- Contact details and a nominated branch administrator.

- A public branch page at worldkbn.com/{your-country}, with tabs for fighters, rankings, events and federation.
- Branch administrator accounts, restricted to your country's records.

Branch isolation
A branch administrator can only see and act on fighters, applications, events and users of their own country. This is enforced in the software by access policies and query scopes, not just hidden buttons. A branch admin who tries to open another country's record receives an access error, and the attempt is logged.

- Verify applications honestly and promptly.
- Keep the board and contact details current.
- Enforce safeguarding and medical rules at sanctioned events.
- Never offer or accept anything in exchange for ranking outcomes; points can never be purchased.
Benefits for your athletes
Your athletes gain a local contact, a national table on your branch page, continental and world tables, a licence with a QR code that any promoter can verify, and a certificate that carries weight because rankings cannot be bought.
After joining: the first 90 days
- Complete your branch page: board, clubs, about text and hero image.
- Train your branch administrators on the application workflow and enable two-factor authentication.
- Identify your country's upcoming events and create them as drafts for sanctioning.
- Tell athletes and clubs how to apply.
- Work the application queue regularly.
Founding period
During KBN's founding period (90 days from official publication), verified results from the preceding 24 months are accepted. New branches should tell their athletes early so they can collect evidence.
