A fight card can look like a wall of names and numbers. Once you know the structure, it tells you exactly what to watch for.
The running order
Cards usually build towards the main event:
- Opening or preliminary bouts: often newer fighters.
- Main card: more experienced fighters.
- Co-main event: the second most important bout.
- Main event: the headline bout, usually last.
Tournament events are different: bouts are grouped by round of the bracket.

Event level
On KBN event pages, each event shows its level: National, International Open, Continental Championship, KBN World Cup or World Championship. The level decides the multiplier for every result on the card, from ร1.0 to ร3.0.
Event multipliers explained โ
During the event
The live centre shows KBN-scored bouts: current round, judges' running totals, per-round scores and the card with statuses.
After the event
The event page shows verified results. Results entered on the night are pending until an administrator verifies them, so they may appear on the event page and in rankings a little later than the final bell.
Records on the card
Records on promotional cards may differ from KBN's verified record, which includes only verified bouts. Check the fighter's KBN profile for their verified record and points breakdown.

Myths and facts
| Myth | Fact |
|---|---|
| The main event is always the best fight | It is the most important commercially; any bout can steal the show |
| Records on the poster are verified | Check the KBN profile for the verified record |
| Title bouts always carry a ranking bonus | Only successful KBN title defences flagged by an administrator earn +75 |
| Results appear in rankings immediately | They count after verification |
Scenario: using a card to follow a division
Before an event, open the rankings page for each division on the card. Note where each fighter stands and what their result could be worth at the event's level. After the event, check the verified results and see how the table moved.
Reading the tale of the tape
Many cards and broadcasts show a "tale of the tape": age, height, reach, weight, stance and record. It is useful context, but remember what it leaves out: the level of previous opposition, recent activity and how the fighter performs under the specific ruleset. On KBN profiles, the points breakdown adds those missing pieces.
Understanding late changes
Cards change. Injuries, illness, missed weight and visa problems are common reasons. When a replacement steps in, the division, weight and even the ruleset may change. A replacement bout still counts like any other if it is an official bout at an event with a KBN level and the result is verified.
Finding the event page
Every KBN event has its own page with the card and, afterwards, the verified results. Branch pages list events held in their country.
Amateur tournament cards
Amateur championship cards often list dozens of bouts across several rings or sessions, grouped by division and bracket round. Follow a division through its bracket to see who reaches the final. Each verified bout earns its own points, and placement bonuses are added on the deciding bout.
Frequently asked questions
QWhy is the main event last?
It is the headline attraction, so events build up to it.
QWhat does the red corner mean?
Corner colours identify the fighters for officials. Conventions on who gets red vary.
QWhy is a result on the card not yet in the rankings?
Results count only once verified by an administrator.
QWhere can I see upcoming KBN events?
On the events page and on each branch's events tab.
