The KBN table is a picture of the last two years, not a lifetime record. Every calculation uses the number of days between the event and the as-of date divided by 30.4375 (the average month). At 12.0 months a result is still full value; one day later it is worth half.
Illustrative projection from the verified record; each step is a result crossing the 12- or 24-month line.
What it means for athletes
- Fight at least once a year to keep a live total.
- A big result buys you two years of ranking presence, but it halves after one.
- Founding-period applicants may submit results from the preceding 24 months; anything older is recorded but scores 0.
Expired bouts stay on the public record and in the verified W-L-D. Only their points leave.
