Your data at KBN: encrypted IDs, private files and UK GDPR rights

Identity data is the most sensitive information an athlete gives us, and the platform is built accordingly.

• Passport and national ID numbers are encrypted at rest and never shown publicly
• In admin screens they are masked (for example ••••1234) unless the user has explicit permission to view identity documents
• Uploaded documents are stored on a private disk and opened only through signed, authorised links
• Branch admins see only athletes and applications from their own country
• Every change of state is written to an audit log

Minors

Under-18 applicants need parental consent at registration, and their public profile is limited to name, country and division.

Your rights

The platform is hosted in the UK and follows UK GDPR. Athletes can request an export or the deletion of their data; requests are processed by KBN admins. Read the privacy notice for details.
